Maina Gems was born from a lifelong love of vintage, and from the woman who inspired me most, my mother.

Maina was my mother's nickname. She passed away from cancer in 2014, but her influence and love continue to be a part of everything I do. She had a special love for gold jewelry and beautiful handbags, and I grew up appreciating the character, craftmanship, and stories behind pieces that stand the test of time.

I've always dreamed of creating something of my own, centered around the things I genuinely love: vintage handbags, jewelry, and timeless pieces that feel special and unique.

This year, I turned 40 and decided it was time to make that dream a reality.

Maina Gems is my way of celebrating the beauty of vintage, while carrying a little piece of my mother's spirit with me. Every piece is thoughtfully chosen for its beauty, character, and story, with the hope that it will become something meaningful in someone else's collection.
